About Another Way: Another Way was developed to help the most vulnerable individuals in the community who have an intellectual and/or developmental disability (I/DD). We provide counseling and monetary assistance that helps bridge the gap between the services and supports Inland Regional Center provides and those it cannot due to state guidelines. Founded in 1986, Another Way provides monetary assistance and counseling to clients for emergency needs such as rent, utilities, mobility equipment, medications, medical co-pays, dental work and other necessities. All recipients of Another Way’s support are clients of Inland Regional Center. The client’s case manager submits the referral for assistance and advocates on behalf of his or her client. The Volunteer Committee oversees Another Way’s work and determines how best to meet the client’s needs. Funds raised through the Bowling Tournament will help sustain Another Way's programs which includes giving out grocery gift-cards during the holiday season.
